I been back to school for two weeks now and it really feels good to be back! Classes are tough this semester but I'm hoping to beat my last average which was a 3.25, (Im really proud of myself for that). I thought that since it Sunday night, I would do a nice little blog about 25 Things you Don't Know About Me, I'm a magazine reader, and they do this on the US Weekly App. So I thought I would do one!
1) My dream school is Auburn University, always wanted a division 1 school! 2) My major is Travel & Tourism 3) Not quite sure what I want to do with it but would either love to work with Make-A-Wish or even a professional sports team. 4) Speaking of Sports, I'm a huge New York Giants fan, I mean huge! 5) I been to several giants games including Saints, Lions, Cowboys, Redskins, Atlanta Falcons, and many more. 6) I've always wanted to meet Eli Manning, he's on of the few autographs that I don't have. 7) My favorite player is Justin Tuck here's the story: I was getting autographs, and I had my oxygen on and fans were on top of me and my sister and I was actually in tears, (I wanted to leave which isn't me at all) and Justin Tuck yelled at everyone and made sure I was okay. 8) I love to read, most of them are teen romances but one of my favorites is The Glass Castle, if you haven't read it, you should. 9) I'm a Bruce Springsteen fan, I've been to three concerts, and dream about going on stage with him. 10) Every time I step into a hospital it makes me want to become a doctor, to help other children and give hope to the parents. 11) I got a new nickname at college, which is Big Em, thanks to a professor/advisor. 12) Sucker for Romance movies, favorite is The Notebook, but cannot watch the whole movie, just my favorite parts. 13) Once I watch a movie, when I go to re-watch it I usually fast forward, and only watch my favorite parts. 14) Always wanted to go to Australia! 15) The place I want to go in the states is California and do a road trip San Diego to San Fran. 16) My favorite shows are One Tree Hill & Grey's Anatomy. 17) I always wanted to write to Grey's Anatomy and tell them my story and about CCM, and hope they do a show surrounding it. 18) I still really want to go on The Ellen Show. 19) I love country music like Sugarland, Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton and others! 20) I don't really have a favorite class but if I had to chose one it would be my travel class because all my friends are in it! 21) I started this blog to get to know others and help others. 22) I'm a dreamer and once an idea gets into my head it doesn't come out. 23) My favorite Disney movie may have to be Tangled. 24) I cannot swim, not because I physically can't do it, Im afraid. I do swim in the shallow end as long as I can touch! 25) I would absolutely love to meet Abby Leach and her family!

"There's always gonna be another mountainI'm always gonna wanna make it moveAlways gonna be a uphill battleSometimes I'm gonna have to lose" I'm the person who second guesses and questions everything, doesn't matter if its a small detail or large. One question that I always ponder is why was I born with CCM, Why me? I wouldn't ever wish that any would have it but why do I have it? If somebody asked me that if they could change me to "normal" would I do it? My answer may surprise them. My answer would be I don't know. I'm the person I am today because of CCM, I'm strong, sometimes confident, and I have a different outtake on life. But at the same time its hard. I get looks while walking at the mall, I get the kids menu sometimes, and I cannot play sports. But besides not being able to play sports, I can do everything else. I can drive, I go to college and I can stay home alone. My life just has some hills along the way but somehow I climb over them.
P.S. I think the only thing I would change is my height, to at least five feet! Hey, can you blame me, I'm 4'6? ((: “Life is all about timing...the unreachable becomes reachable, the unavailable become available, the unattainable...attainable. Have the patience, wait it out.”
― Stacey Charter So a couple weeks ago, I applied to the Disney College Program for next semester. That means next semester, if I got accepted, I could work in Walt Disney World, in Florida. I was thinking to myself that there is no way I would ever get accepted, I'm a freshman in college, just starting out. But instead of proving everyone else wrong, I proved myself wrong. I got accepted into the disney college program, which is a huge accomplishment and a great organization to work for. Here's the catch when I learned that I got accepted, I starting thinking to myself, can I really live in Florida for 4-6 months, without really visiting my family. Could I live by myself. I think I could do it, but not now. Timing in life is everything, and now is not my time. I know it may sound stupid declining to work in Disney, but with everything going on in my life, I need something to be normal and not change. Im just getting used to College, and I love it and I'm not quite ready to wrap up my first year here. So hopefully this time next year, I will be telling you that I'm working in Disney World but today is not that day. I been super busy with school work, so I'm finally answering your questions.
Jill asked: Have your classmates been accepting of your health issues. Answer: I expressed before I started school on how incredibly nervous I was with having my peers accept me. I have been in awe with the way they have accepted me. Nobody ask's me questions, on why I have a single room there response is "woah your so lucky you have a single room." It doesn't cross their minds that I may have a single room because of health reasons, in matter of fact I'm usually the one bringing it up. I don't try to hide who I am but it's nice not being known as the girl who had a nurse, my new peers don't know my past. Thanks Jill for the question! Mary asked: I'm a freshman in college also and i was wondering have you been able to maintain good relationships with you best friends back how do they keep you grounded? does being able to lean back on them make you feel like you can push forward in the world? Answer: Hi Mary, hope your freshman year in college is going well! I have been able to maintain a good relationship with my good friends from home, although it is tough. While were miles apart and want to stay close together, we have obstacles. I have always been the girl who wants to experience the world and that's what I'm doing at college. But having my friends at home, remind me of who I am and where I come from and I will never lose sight of that. My friends want nothing but the best for me so they definitely inspire me and help me push forward in the world. Thank you Jill and Mary for your questions and I hope I answered them fully. As weird as this may sound my life has been pretty normal lately, and its a relief, I must say. My mid-term grades were pretty good, and I'm proud of myself for that. Were moving in a couple of weeks so "normal" life will soon pass. I cannot believe that it is almost Halloween, this weekend there having a costume party on campus, and I'm being a flapper girl (from the '20's). Also Saturday Im going home after being away for about three weeks (my longest streak) I'm pretty excited about that. Since I don't have exciting news in my life I wanted to do something new. I want you to ask me questions, anything school related, about my health past and my health now, ask away. I created a blog to help others and I thought that if you guys asked questions that would help you get to know me a little better.
